Everybody is responsible

Continuously enhancing our social responsibility and environmental initiatives

Let’s act

We go beyond excellence; our dedication extends to the ongoing improvement of our social commitment and environment.

Responsibility

For nature, for humanity.

A lifetime dedicated to SUSTAINABILITY

In our organization, ESG principles are woven into our very fabric, not just a passing trend. For decades, we’ve pioneered the use of reusable transport containers, earning recognition through various environmental and sustainability awards. Our innovative container systems are at the forefront of the Circular Economy, making significant strides in agriculture, chemical industry, retail, automotive, and food sectors. They not only save precious resources but also minimize waste and slash CO2 emissions throughout supply chains. IFCO, a cornerstone client for three decades, relies on our containers to prevent a staggering 1.5 billion single-use packages, averting 500,000+ tons of CO2 emissions annually.

Our pride lies in the diversity of our workforce, representing 60+ nationalities, fostering a rich tapestry of ideas. Remarkably, over 25% of our leadership roles are occupied by women in an industry traditionally dominated by men. In the realm of governance, our structure, encompassing supervisory boards and management boards, adheres strictly to established guidelines, ensuring robust integrity.

We don’t just stop at excellence; we are committed to continuous improvement. Embracing the UN Sustainable Development Goals, we extend our reach beyond business operations, engaging in impactful social initiatives. Our commitment to ESG isn’t just a statement; it’s a lived reality, shaping our present and ensuring a sustainable future for all.“

Responsibility

Desert Food Foundation

The mission of our non-profit foundation is to facilitate and champion the transformation of arid deserts into thriving agricultural lands.

By promoting sustainable desert greening initiatives, we combat poverty, alleviate water scarcity, curtail migration, and address climate change. Through strategic efforts, we aim to create self-sufficient, sustainable ecosystems, fostering a brighter future for affected communities

Responsibility

Fully returnable packaging

Schoeller Allibert’s sustainability strategy is intricately designed around three fundamental pillars.

These pillars are not arbitrary; they are the result of a meticulous analysis of our material sustainability concerns. They serve as a blueprint, guiding our efforts in the areas where our impact matters most. Through continuous assessment and strategic initiatives, we are dedicated to making a positive change, shaping a more sustainable future for our organization and the communities we serve

Responsibility

Africa First!

Africa doesn’t need charity, but positive impulses. It is therefore high time for a paradigm shift

Europe must invest now instead of offering assistance—especially since the low interest rates provide an opportunity to achieve significant results with manageable efforts. The heart of the ‚Agenda for a Common Future‘ is an innovative concept to mobilize capital together for building infrastructure. Because Africa needs a foundation first, on which investments, entrepreneurship, and prosperity can flourish.

Responsibility

CSR TOGO

After founding the „Desert Food Foundation“ in Kenya, Martin Schoeller became Honorary Consul of Togo for Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg, and Saxony in April 2018.

He supported various aid projects, including PiT by Margret Kopp. In 2019, he engaged in organic cocoa cultivation with AJEF Togo. 350,000 cocoa trees were planted by the end of 2020, aiming for 900,000 more by 2021. He aided in producing COVID-19 supplies and constructing a school in Ussabini, completed in December 2020, where classes started in 2021.
